Red Mullet, Fifties Fashions and Brigitte Bardot

When I can’t sleep I recall  favorite meals rather than count sheep. High on the list are the dishes of red mullet I’ve eaten at Le Chaufourg-en-Perigord, my favorite inn in la belle France. Of Cookies and Chicken Livers

This year I thought I’d try to stem my holiday avoirdupois accumulation by skipping cookie-baking, candy-making and plum-pudding-steaming.
