Sunday in the city with Penny

This is going to be a very short post.  And a bossy one.  If you have even the mildest interest in photography and you ever have the chance to attend a workshop with Penny de Los Santos, do not miss the opportunity.  The Sunday I spent with her and 25 other food bloggers  — first photographing the exquisite food prepared for us at  Contigo and then wandering the Mission “making, not taking” photographs, as Penny put it — was an experience to treasure.

And, yes, we ate the food after we photographed it.  And yes it tasted as good as it looked.
